Teaching Outside the Box: ARL Librarians' Integration of the "One-Box" into Student Instruction

Respondents were asked to indicate whether or not they teach students to use the one-box tool, and why or why not. Based on the responses of the 352 librarians who participated in the study, the researchers found that most reference and instruction librarians at ARL libraries are “teaching outside the box.”
